Here is the brand new M-41 Keel center-board sloop "Hombre" strapped down and driving hard, up the Gulf of Mexico in her first race after launching and sea trials.. In the able hands of owner Bruce Bidwell, and Charley Morgan's grammar school pal and co-founding partner in The Morgan Yacht Corp., "HOMBRE racked up an enviable account of herself in the Florida Ocean Racing Assoc. series of her day. It is of interesting note that the fine looking sails HOMBRE is sporting were made by the "Morgan Racing Sails" division of Morgan Yacht. For many years Morgan Racing Sails powered winning ocean racers yachts and the smaller racing class boats, - the loft was shipping sails all over the country, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
